NYS Clinical Records Initiative Announcement

The New York State Clinical Records Initiative (NYSCRI) is pleased to announce the following developments:

1) The Office of Mental Health maintains a Certified Vendors List on the NYSCRI Home Page indicating vendors offering a NYSCRI certified Electronic Health Record. Certified vendors add an additional value to providers in that they create an electronic record that captures and displays all of the needed data elements and enforces the required medical necessity linkages of the NYSCRI form set. The first vendor to achieve NYSCRI certification is DocuTrac, Inc.

2) NYSCRI has an Announcements Listserv allowing you to receive news, updates and other project information (they will not share your contact information with anyone and this will be used simply to disseminate official information to providers and other interested parties).

3) A list of Frequently Asked Questions has been developed to provide guidance, based on the numerous questions that OMH has received from the field, regarding the forms and processes surrounding them.
