Doug has worked in the mental health field for over 20 years. He has been in the position of Regional Coordinator with ACL since May of 2001. Prior to coming to ACL Doug was the Director of the New York WORKS Research Project at the New York State Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene. Doug also was employed at NAMI-NYS for a number of years in different capacities including Interum Executive Director and Director of Outreach and Educational Services. Doug also worked for many years in Direct Care in residential and other outpatient programs.

Toni has been the Executive Director of the Association for Community Living since November, 2000. Prior to coming to ACL, Toni was the Executive Director of Multi-County Community Development Corporation, an agency that operates residential and day programs licensed and/or funded by OMH, OMRDD, HUD, HOPWA, OASAS, HHAP and local governments. Over 20 years she has worked in every capacity in the residential mental health field, from direct care worker to Executive Director. She earned a law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 1997. She currently serves on the OMH Commissioner’s AOT Quality Improvement Panel.

Tina Tortora
Business Manager from September 1989 To April, 1993 and from August, 1995 To present

Tina has been the Business Manager for ACLAIMH since 1989, with a two year break when her first child was born. ACLAIMH was Tina’s first full time position after moving to Albany, NY from Queens, NY in 1988. Tina is much more than a Business Manager, however. She wears many hats including that of Bookkeeper, Office Manager, and Conference and Meeting Coordinator.
