ACCESS TO LICENSED HOUSING AND SUPPORTED HOUSING PROGRAMS

Many counties require that referrals to this program go through a “Single Point of Access,” often operated by the local government. In some instances, it is operated by a separate entity contracted by the local government. The following is a link to an alphabetical listing of each county’s (or NYC’S) Mental Hygiene Department where someone should be able to explain how the referral process works in that county (or in NYC).
